Financial Advice

Financial advisors can play a big role in helping you navigate your financial journey. Whether you’re dealing with debt and aren’t sure where to start, launching a small business you’re passionate about, or trying to navigate through government rules and paperwork, having the right guidance can make things a lot easier.

Financial mistakes can be expensive, and no one wants to pay more than they should. From paying off debt to starting a business, or even receiving a letter from the IRS or your state agency that you don’t understand, we’re here to help.

While other companies can help file the paperwork to get your business started, they often try to sell add-on services you may not actually need. At Townsend Taxes, we do things differently. We don’t earn commissions on the products or services we recommend. Everything we suggest is based on what we personally use and what truly makes sense for your situation.

Our goal is simple: to look out for your best interests and give you honest guidance—without pushing products you don’t need—so you can move forward with confidence.

Why should I hire a financial advisor, and what about Townsend Taxes is different from the other financial advisors?

Starting a Business

We offer a 45-minute consultation to discuss your goals, answer your questions, and help you choose the right business structure. If you decide to move forward, we handle all required filings and registrations for a flat fee of $50 plus state filing fees. There are no hidden costs or unnecessary add-ons.

Our goal is to make starting your business simple, affordable, and stress-free, so you can focus on building and growing what you're passionate about.

Each month afterward, we’ll review your progress, update your plan, and make sure your financial roadmap keeps you on track — all while answering any tax or planning questions along the way.
